Answers to the problems that come up most often, whether a particular application will capture, licence and connection errors, missing steps, a blurry local export, and a demo that will not fill a larger monitor.
Most browser-based applications capture cleanly, but every application is built a little differently. That is what the 7-day trial is for. Record the applications you actually plan to demo before you subscribe.
If something does not capture correctly, email support@demomakerpro.com. You can send the capture file itself, which means we can diagnose the problem without ever needing access to your system or an account on it. Fixes for specific applications ship in updates.
And if an interface cannot be captured reliably as HTML, Desktop Capture records it as a window image instead, so you can still build the demo.

The desktop app is running but not activated. Open it, go to File > License, and activate with your key. See activate your licence.
The extension cannot see the desktop app. Make sure it is open and activated, then reopen the extension popup.
Check the connection indicator in the extension popup. If it says the app is not detected, open the app first, then use Resend to app in the popup to send what was already captured.
Open the exported HTML file over http rather than by double-clicking it from the windows file explorer. Browsers render local files with restrictions that can soften a scaled demo. Published demos are unaffected.
Demo Maker Pro preserves the original quality of your recording by never enlarging a captured page beyond the size it was recorded at. If the viewer's screen is larger than the original capture, the remaining space appears evenly around the demo.
To make a demo fill a larger screen, record it again with your browser window at the size you want to present at. For example, if you plan to present on a 2560-pixel-wide display, maximize or size the browser accordingly before you begin recording.
Republishing the same project will not change its recorded dimensions. The capture itself determines the maximum display size.
On smaller screens, Demo Maker Pro automatically scales the demo down to fit. If your demo will be shared with people using many different screen sizes, capturing at a common desktop size such as 1440 or 1920 pixels wide is usually a good balance. Large captures are genuinely large before compression. The app shows what stage it is on and how long it has been running. If it is still counting, it is still working.
