When a demo is finished in the editor, exporting is how you get a file you own. Publish > Export HTML writes a single self-contained HTML file. Everything the demo needs is inside it, so you can host it anywhere, embed it in a page, or email it.
That file is yours. It keeps working regardless of your subscription, and it does not contact our servers. Viewers need no account, no licence, no extension and no install, any browser opens it.
Because the export is one file with no external dependencies, it can go on your own web server, an intranet, a documentation site, a learning management system, a customer's environment, or straight into an email. There is no vendor player to install and nothing to keep in sync.
Open the exported HTML file over http rather than by double-clicking it from the Windows file explorer. Browsers render local files with restrictions that can soften a scaled demo. Published demos are unaffected. More on this in troubleshooting.
When your paid plan ends, you can no longer use the Demo Maker Pro desktop app or browser extension to record, edit, export, or publish demos. Any HTML demos you already exported to your computer are yours to keep and will continue working normally.
Exported files keep working after cancellation; the software that makes them does not. If you expect to stop your subscription, export the demos you want to keep before the plan ends.
