Try a captured page, not a video of one

The Salesforce demo below is live HTML and CSS taken from the browser, so its text is real text and stays sharp when a viewer zooms in. Arcade reserves that kind of capture for its Enterprise plan.

Arcade’s video-first plans and HTML on Enterprise

Arcade now leads with AI video; its pricing page is titled “Pricing for AI video generation.” The Growth plan adds AI translations, demo branching, CTAs and forms, MP4 and GIF exports, custom branding and integrations. HTML capture is listed only on Enterprise, alongside offline access, version history, SSO and custom domains. Arcade publishes a desktop app for Mac and Windows next to its Chrome extension and Figma plugin.

Demo Maker Pro works the other way round. Real HTML capture is the default for anything in Chrome or Edge, on both plans. A Windows program is captured as an image of its window, one press of the capture key per screen, and those steps join the browser steps in the same walkthrough.

What changes when a step is HTML instead of an image

• Text can be selected and searched, and fonts and spacing arrive as they were on screen.
• A viewer who zooms in sees sharp text rather than enlarged pixels.
• When one screen of the product changes, you re-record that screen and keep the rest.

Published pricing for browser HTML capture

Arcade’s Growth plan is $50/seat/month, or $42.50/seat/month billed annually ($510/seat/year). That lower-priced plan does not include HTML capture; Arcade lists that capability on Arcade’s Enterprise plan.

Questions from Arcade users

Can I export a video or GIF?

No. Demo Maker Pro exports HTML. If you need MP4 or GIF output, Arcade’s Growth plan includes it.

Does the editor run on a Mac?

Not yet. Arcade’s desktop app covers Mac and Windows, while Demo Maker Pro’s editor needs Windows; Mac support is in progress. Anyone can view the finished demo in a browser on either system.

What does the trial include?
