Will Demo Maker Pro work with my application?
Most browser-based applications capture cleanly, but every application is built a
little differently. That is what the 7-day trial is for. Record the applications you
actually plan to demo before you subscribe.
If something does not capture correctly, email
support@demomakerpro.com.
You can send the capture file itself,
which means we can diagnose the problem without ever needing access to your system or an
account on it. Fixes for specific applications ship in updates.
And if an interface cannot be captured reliably as HTML, Desktop Capture gives you another
way to build the demo.
If Demo Maker Pro is not right for you, cancel any time. Ask within 30 days and we refund
your last payment in full, no questions asked.
Why am I choosing a plan before the trial?
The trial itself is identical on every plan. You get the full capture and editing experience,
unlimited local HTML export, and one cloud-published demo for seven days. The plan you choose
simply determines which subscription begins after the trial if you do not cancel.
Windows showed a security prompt when I ran the installer
That is expected for newly released installers and is not a virus warning. Click
More info, confirm the publisher reads qwerty2 LLC,
then click Run anyway. Demo Maker Pro is digitally signed and the
publisher identity was verified by Microsoft, which is why Windows can show you
who published it. If the publisher line ever says anything else, do not run the file.
What happens to my demos if I cancel?
Any demo you exported as HTML is a file on your computer and keeps working forever, with no
connection to us. Demos published to our hosting stop being served when the subscription ends,
so export anything you want to keep beforehand.
What does unlimited actually mean?
There is no cap on how many demos you publish on Publish and Team. Each account has 2GB of storage,
which is several hundred walkthroughs at typical sizes. If a demo ever generates exceptional traffic
we will get in touch to sort it out rather than switching it off.
What happens when Creator reaches its 3 demo limit?
Publishing a fourth is refused until you delete one or move up to Publish. Deleting is instant,
from My Cloud Published Demos in the app. Nothing you built locally is affected, and exported HTML
files are never counted or limited on any plan.
How many computers can I install on?
Creator and Publish cover one computer. Team covers five. If you need to move to a different machine,
open File then License in the app, click Deactivate this device, and activate on the new one.
There is no limit on how many times you can do that.
Do I need a special demo environment?
No. You can record the browser-based system you already use. Demo Maker Pro runs on your Windows computer
and captures the workflow from Chrome or Edge, so you do not need to install anything into the system you are
recording or change its code.
Is my product data sent anywhere?
Capture and editing happen entirely on your own machine. A demo only reaches our servers if you choose
to publish it. If you only ever export HTML, we never see your content at all.
Can I serve demos from my own domain?
Published demos are hosted by us at demos.demomakerpro.com. If you need your own domain right now,
export the demo as a single HTML file and put it on your own site or intranet. Hosted custom domains
are on the roadmap.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows computer for the desktop editor, and Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the capture extension.
Can I try it first?
Yes. Every 7-day trial includes one cloud-published demo, regardless of plan. We take a card at signup
and charge nothing that day. Your selected plan starts when the seven days are up unless you cancel
before then.
Does Demo Maker Pro work on Mac?
Not yet. Demo Maker Pro currently requires Windows. Mac support is planned.
