What is Demo Maker Pro?
Interactive demo software that runs in your browser. Its Chrome or Edge extension captures web apps as real HTML and desktop programs as screenshot steps. You add guided tooltips in the editor, then publish a shareable link or, on Pro and Team, download a self-contained HTML file.
What do viewers need?
Just a browser. No account, extension or install.
What do I need to create demos?
Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on Windows or Mac, with the free Demo Maker Pro extension. There is nothing else to install: the editor runs at app.demomakerpro.com.
Can I use browser and desktop steps together?
Yes. You can combine browser captures and desktop screenshot steps in the same interactive demo.
What happens to my demos if I cancel?
Your workspace moves to the Free plan. Your most recently published demo stays live, and your other demos move to the Trash, where they are deleted after 30 days. Choose a plan within those 30 days and they all come back, ready to publish again on the same links. HTML files you downloaded keep working.
How much does it cost?
Cloud is $99 a month or $990 a year. Pro adds unlimited HTML downloads for $149 a month or $1,490 a year. Team is $4,500 a year for up to five people in one shared workspace. You can also start on the Free plan, with no card and no time limit: five unpublished demos and one published demo.
What can I add to each step?
Guided tooltips, highlights, navigation, title pages, completion screens and your own styling. You can reorder steps or re-record a single step when the workflow changes.
Where are my demos stored?
In your workspace on our servers, so you can open and edit them from any browser. Nothing is public until you publish it, and you can unpublish a link at any time.
